Esotertic Tapestries

Esoteric Tapestries is a deeply personal work reflecting my ongoing exploration of the psychedelic experience through oil painting. Drawing on Aztec-inspired creatures and symbols, the piece weaves together jesters, ancient codes, and figures that surfaced during altered states of consciousness – glimpses into higher dimensions. I used thin layers of turpentine and oil to build a worn, earthy effect, giving the painting the texture of an ancient tapestry.

This piece functions as both a visual map and an energetic portal, inviting viewers to feel the intelligence and playfulness of the entities encountered beyond the veil. While much of my work embraces the chaotic beauty of the visionary realm, Esoteric Tapestries takes on a more meditative tone, a coded message stitched between this world and the next.

I’m inspired by the ways art can express what words often fail to capture, especially when navigating liminal and metaphysical spaces. With each piece, I seek to honour the ineffable and open a space for others to connect with their inner worlds, and consider consciousness beyond this life.
