An Ode to Psychedelics

Inspired by the psychedelic experience and drawn to its darker side, Payta’s work explores altered states of consciousness, entities, and the mysterious space between life and death.

Originally from Singapore and based in Bristol, UK, Payta is a visionary artist specialising in oil painting, alongside biro and live painting. Her work has been exhibited internationally at Ozora Festival in Hungary, Mo:Dem Festival in Croatia, and 7 Chakras Festival in Italy.

Her paintings The Creator and Bodies were selected for Ozora Festival’s Mirador Art Gallery, where both are now on permanent display. She has also exhibited at Mo:Dem Festival as part of Art Collider, an international psychedelic art collective, and regularly exhibits and live-paints across the UK and Europe.
