Datura Delirium

Datura Delirium is a miniature oil painting I created in December 2025. I first discovered Datura in 2024, but only a year later have I been unable to stop thinking about it. I’m deeply fascinated by the wild and unsettling trip reports surrounding this plant, experiences unlike anything commonly described with psychedelics. There is something uniquely different about Datura, a presence that feels both alluring and dangerous, and I felt drawn to paint its beautiful flower in celebration of the contrast between its deceptive beauty and the dark trickery beneath the surface.

While I may one day explore Datura myself, it is not a plant to be taken lightly due to its neurotoxic nature and potential for long-term, life-altering effects.
