Chaos
Oil on Canvas, 40x40cm – Dec 2024–Jan 2025
Chaos delves into the emotional frustration and complexity of existence, intertwined with the psychedelic experience. The painting portrays a fractured yet interconnected fabric of multi-faced entities, symbolising the conflicting forces that shape our lives. Each face represents an aspect of the self, torn between pain, confusion, and the struggle for understanding in a world that often feels fragmented and uncertain.
The bold strokes and layered textures capture the intensity of this internal conflict, the emotional release of past struggles and the challenge of confronting life's inherent chaos. The multi-faced figures reflect not only the uncertainty of existence but also the interconnectedness of all experiences, pointing to the repetitive and unstoppable nature of life, death, and reincarnation.
In Chaos, I aim to express the emotional turbulence and complexity of navigating existence, offering the viewer a moment to reflect on their own frustrations, struggles, and the continual process of transformation that defines the human experience.
